I got my video iPod for Christmas. The only video I've downloaded for it so far is Lazy Sunday from SNL, and that's because it was free. I mostly wanted it for the music ... but when I saw that TiVo's going to make itself iPod-compatible, I had to have it.

I also got a remote-controlled car, the Special Forces addon for Battlefield 2, and some clothes and knives and stuff.

I got two iTrips. But they're both the wrong one, and I haven't been able to track one down for the video iPod yet. The guy at the Apple store says they're still waiting for them to come in from China. So, Best Buy gave me store credit instead of just giving me some money to go buy what I wanted at another store. Thanks, Best Buy. I'll remember your policies when it's time to go buy an HDTV.

I also need a good case for the iPod. So far all the ones I've found where either too expensive or too ugly...or they looked like this. If anyone knows a good place to get one that doesn't have arms and legs, hook me up. That's what the little number up by the title of the post is for...comments. Hint hint.

I was cleaning out my shed the other day to make room for all the stuff that'll get pushed out there after Christmas (it's an inevitable cycle) and I found a bunch of old newspapers from when I worked in Cincinnati. I think I'm going to scan some pictures in and put them up here later on. I'm kind of proud of some of them.
