Starting today you can buy
Saturday Night Live skits for your video iPod through iTunes. I think that's great, but it bothers me that they're charging the same amount of money for a skit that's a minute long and for a 40-minute episode of
Lost.
Steve Jobs was complaining a few months back about how the music industry was greedy because they wanted to up the price on some of their music downloads. Well, that's all well and good, but when you're charging a flat $2 fee per download, and some downloads are literally a tenth the size of others, that looks a little greedy to me. Greedy, or ill-thought-out.
But, they do have Massive Headwound Harry and James Brown's Hot Tub. If they had the Exorcist skit with Richard Pryor, I would have to buy it.
Speaking of The Exorcist, I watched the most recent one on HBO the other night. It was terrible, and out of curiosity I went to look online to see what
other reviewers thought. There were actually
two idiots out there that loved it.
This is turning into the worst blog entry ever to write, so I'm just going to stop. I can just imagine what it must feel like to actually read it.
